- Oversaw litigation related to employment issues, this included initial risk assessment, choice of outside counsel, strategy and resolution
- 7 years as an investigator involving complex criminal investigations for a local police department, including many joint investigations with both federal and state agencies
- 5+ years as Chief Deputy of a county jail; duties included conducting HR and other investigations for a county jail with an inmate population of up to 700 inmates and 130 employees
